 In case you couldn't already tell, we're Rebecca Louie fan girls. In addition to being a Master Composter (swoon) Rebecca is also the author of our bible Compost City. Along with all the classic compost methods, Rebecca is even a champion of winter window-box composting.  Didn't think she could be any more fabulous? Did we mention she's a casual bee keeper? In other words, check this queen out.  

 This UK based group not only has a lock on clever names but has got the urban farming game figured out. They inspire us daily with their gorgeous produce and masterful compost systems. Who knew spring onions could give you feels?

 The Compost Collective has truly earned its name. This team of Aucklanders has created an incredible community that is obvious even through a screen. Sharing motivational composter stories and some educational materials we never knew we needed

Their goal is to provide opportunities for everyone to close the food loop through sustainable practices. Located in Loudoun County, VA these guys are taking on climate change one steamy pile at a time.

Many of us want to hide the fact that we have worms, but with the Box of Life, you’ll want to show those babies off. This gorgeous compost system made completely from wood may just be the accessory your kitchen is missing. Not to mention their instagram is full of helpful tips, tricks, and stunning illustrations to help you stay on track. Can we just say, it gives us LIFE. 

 What started out as a small group of volunteers pedaling scraps around LA in 2013, has evolved into a masterful network. LA Compost now offers regionally based sites that serve the community’s organics processing, compost creation, and continued compost education needs. Follow their account to see how people connect to the soil and each other. 

Forget about a hero, we need a Waste Warrior and boy have we found them. This team leverages composting to tackle food waste in the US, but the work doesn't stop there. In addition, Mindful Waste provides solutions via gardening, schools, communities and even in your own kitchen.  Follow them to join the fight.

These city dwellers aren't messing around when it comes to advocating for free and public compost. During the pandemic, New York City compost collections were stalled indefinitely but this team of activists refused to accept that. Follow this group's fight to restore NYC 's curbside pick up to 3.5 million people.

I think its safe to say, that we're pretty sweet for these teachers. Located in the Great White North, the CEC is a non-profit organization that specializes in  composting and ecological gardening education. Get ready to make some international calls - cause these guys even have a compost hotline.
